Compact plastic welding machine with ultrasound

The space-saver. Our compact ultrasonic plastic welding machine for large quantities.

These compact plastic welding machines have been specially designed for installation directly next to the injection moulding machine. Where installation and movement areas are tight, the slim machine body fits perfectly into the material flow line. The control panel can be mounted either on the left or right, so that the machines can be configured in mirror image for left and right components.

Space-saving and easy to integrate

The article holder and upper mould are permanently integrated in the machine. The work area is shielded by safety light curtains to optimise cycle times. A precise servo drive allows welding in several positions.

The machine shown is configured for welding a D-pillar panelling with a total of 16 welding points in 2 positions, article monitoring by means of DataMatrix scanning and extensive individual part scanning.

The ultrasonic equipment is based on our proven 40 kHz converters from the USK840 series. All sonotrodes are designed by mth based on the CAD component contour and manufactured from high-quality titanium. The item holder, which is also manufactured according to CAD data, is made of our special plastic, which has been tried and tested for decades and offers maximum protection against surface damage, even with sensitive or painted components.
